Will Tek Tier be supported by the Primitive plus conversion or would you have to play the standard version of Ark in order to utilize that gear end game gear?

Primitive's whole purpose is to get away from Tech Items so I would say no.

I've only got 50 hours of game time in as I just purchased the game so i don't know the differences between the two conversions.

Actually there is a way I by accident somehow made a primitive plus server with evolved engrams as well. I prefer to call it a double conversion ark. Last year I hosted it I think it was either nitrado or gportal. If you configure the game ini. But host it on a evolved server 1st for a while then convert it to prim. Then you'll have both. Trying to figure out how I did it last year so I am trying to recreate the server right now to have the Double Conversion. If anyone know what I am talking about please let me know. If not then you don't know. But I'll be honest it was awesome having tek armor flying around with a battle axe.
