Hypothermic and Hyperthermic
Which one is for heat and which one is for cold, also, how does the value on the armor work, because sometimes it's as a minus instead. Thanks for clearing this up :)

Hypo is for cold and hyper is for heat if the armor shows a minus number it will make you less resistant for that temperature so for example fur gives you negative hyperthermic insulation so you will overheat more easily while wearing it

And even 2 years later in 2022... I always mix them up but i now see a memory aid.

if you know the meaning of hyper and hypo you can make it more easy. and they are used in way more occasions then to decide between hot and gold in ark.
you could actually benefit from it
