INCREASE WEAPONS DAMAGE
Is there any way to increase the weapon damage?

for example: a longneck rifle with 100% damage makes, 500 real damage to a dino.
Is there any way to increase that 500 of damage? without changing the 100% of damage of the weapon (quality)

should be a way to modify the base damage of it, just not sure on how to mess with .ini files tho

You might want to check out the ark dev kit (or whatever it's called). Most likely you'll need to go into that, look around for the weapons & mod the damage. Then turn that into a mod. And no I don't know the ins & outs, you'll need to check youtube for ark modding. Good luck!

I would also like to know this so I can scale up weapon damage to make caves possible for single player.

Sounds like too much work make a mod, but idk.

Yo can go with melee weapons.
Put this command in your gameusersettings.ini
[Server Settings]
PlayerDamageMultiplier=1.0 (default) ----> more damage increase that number
theirs a mod that doubles weapon damage ? would this be good enough?

I could be wrong but after constantly looking for a way to do this myself with ini file changes its not possible, and you have to use the dev kit to make a mod.

Why not just summon in an Ascendant Pike? Its a random damage % but I've gotten upto 730% damage or so on some.

*Actually summon a couple because they will break while you are in there..

Because in my server an ascendat pike doesn't work agains dinos, and fire weapons maybe but with low rates of damage

Its currently not possible to adjust the damage of firearms with the ini files. Turrets yes, but the guns players use no.

I really wish they'd put a setting in the ini files that would let you adjust the guns damage up or down so that guns could actually be relevant on unofficial servers again.

I'm agree with you, because it doesn't make sense fight with a longneck rifle in servers where tamed dinos have 1kk hp. Or players have 5k hp...

In my server, ascendant is pretty common but, 10 headshots to kill 1 people?
or use the badazz sniper mod and it has configurable damage i beleive and it has explosive rounds and stun rounds XD
