Large cactus trees and small cactus can't be harvested

Me and a friend are hosting a server and we are on scorched earth but the large cactus trees and desert trees plus the small hand pixkiable cacti can't be harvested the medium cactus we can harvest but makes it hard to get wood gathered please look in to this issue love the game and keep on making it better :)

they can be harvested just fine, might be a problem with your server? maybe a mod?

pyro have you figured out what was causing your issue as our server is doing same and has been for last couple of days now. we thought it might have been and update that caused it but not really seeing to many people posting this issue. we were on a windows server and everthing worked there but when we moved to linux server (which there was an update while we were transferring the saved info) we could no longer harvest the larger or small cacti.

has anyone figured out if this is a linux os related problem? Because I can't harvest the cactus plants on my server, hosted through Logic Servers who only use Linux os.

Granted the large and small cactus should be harvestable, but why are you not chopping down trees for wood? (EDIT: Fixed horrible spelling)

In your defence, there are a lot of things acting out at the moment - bolas not working at all in single player, updates not downloading properly, some people can't place doors down. Ladders are being temperamental...

In your defence, there are a lot of things acting out at the moment - bolas not working at all in single player, updates not downloading properly, some people can't place doors down. Ladders are being temperamental...

I ended up looking into it a little farther and I can't cut down cactus and/or the trees with the spikey leafs.

Central canyon, south eastern side, there should be a series of three lakes (careful, Kapros like to spawn in there now) there should be plenty of normal trees for you to cut down. If that doesn't work, you're going to have to wait for a patch.
