sounds like you are missing the drivers for your 1060
BoFa Nov 26, 2016 @ 1:58pm

the hd 530 is your on board graphicss .. so its not a 'card' as such

is your moniter cable plugged into the 1060? or the onboard

i dont think so how can i do that (dude im sorry if im giving you a hard time im new to pc gaming )

you have 1 GPU. the 1060 is your GPU, the intel chipset is the built in graphics driver and is good for just about nothing.

start menu - right click my computer - manage. look for display adapters in the list of stuff, open it, right click the 1060 and update drivers.

if this doesnt work you need to boot into the BIOS and force the pc to only use the 1060 and to skip the intel. this option will be in the hardware section somewhere.

ok you may want to power down your pc .... but looking in the back IOshield .. thats whaere all your jacks are. there will be seperate plugs for your on board graphics and your 1060 ... take off your side panel if you cant see inside.... you will find wich ones are for your 1060

i tried updating it and it says that its already installed

but how can i connct them?

process of elimination. A: are you plugged in the right monitor socket ... B:Are your drivers corrupt... or do they require updating.... etc

Follow Vesuvious instructions. Look where you have your monitor plugged in. Is it on the back of the motherrboard where your usb ports are, by the where the keyboard and mouse and network plugs are? That is the wrong spot.

You want to plug the monitor into the 1060 video card which will be in a completely different spot in one the expansion slots.

well look at the back of your tower ... wich ever socket your moniter is plugged in .. put it in the other one

dude tbh i dont really know what youre trying to tell me bc im new to pc gaming and i barely know s***

open your case, look where your gpu sits and look at it on the back on the case, your monitor lead needs to be plugged into this.
you motherboards graphics port will be near the top of the case on the back. the GPUs ports will be in the middle.

you should be using a HDMI or a DVI cable. if there is no lead plugged into the gpu thats your problem.
