Can't fill waterskins or water jars lol

Hey guys i can't fill my water jars

I place them in my inventory or hotbar then go in the water and NOTHING happens.

Whether it is raining or not they never fill up.

Its seems so ridiculous, am I doing something wrong lol tell me!

Press the hotkey number when in water / rain

When I tap it nothing happens and when I hold it the tooltips/item information pops up and they still don't fill up

Put waterskin in last hot key, stand in water deep enough, press 0
Blue bar fills up?

Are your waterskins full of water and you are just missing it? the tooltip should show you nn / nn

If that doesn't work, find a different water hole like the sea and try it there.

Actually the waterskins say 1/200 perhaps that is the problem, something just stop them from filling up more

Well, I would try a different water place because maybe the one you are testing is not flagged as water. Also, craft another waterskin and take that with you just in case your ones have bugged out somehow.

This happened to me. What I did was stood by the edge until it lit up and then pressed the button.

If something is still happening 5 *years* later, and it's still an issue, and it's still not fixed - then is it really necro, or is it just "we're still having this problem!", and the issue is still a current issue after all these years?
