Hey guys I just tamed a Griffin and I saw a lot of youtubers doing the hovering in the air and fly up thing without looking up.
How do you do it??

Press the key for "moving back" on your prefered game controller.
Also hold down the run key to move faster.
The griffins are super agile, wish every flyer would be that agile.

And how do I use divebomb?

When you're up in the sky, aim down (fly down) and hold your run key, you have to look straight down for it to fully work.
The griffin does a huge amout of damage when it dive bomb - lands.
You can also attack with the front claws of the griffin while flying dive-bomb-speed, this also does loads of damage!

Fly towards to ground while holding the sprint key. You can then do the following:

1. Pull up hard before hitting the ground to glide.
2. Don't pull up and you will smash into the ground doing AOE damage.
3. Pull up just enough to touch the ground (so you don't trigger the AOE attack) and you will continue running on the ground at a high rate of speed.

When I discovered by myself how to fly rapidly upward whilst looking down, I was attacking an Alpha Rex. It helps to be able to see just how high you are off the ground without having to stop and look down. It also helps so you can see your target of choice.

Dont dive bomb and hit the ground, pull up and use normal attack, that does way more damage und you can fly right back up for the next dive.

The Griffin is a beast!

Dont pull up too quick or you will loose all momentum, you need some practice for the optimal timing. But once you master it there is no match for the griffin.
