CYCLE SNAP point ?!

I'm going through a living nightmare with snap points!
How do I cycle through the snap points?! Even when I press"Q"... It does cycle them, but it changes to another snap point a fraction of a second after even if I haven't pressed the Q key again!? wtf

snap point can be annoying at times as it will sometimes misplace the item when you confirm to place it.

as eagle says ............ snapping has got a bit better but still can be a bit random to say the least with you snapping in a wall fine but it placing that wall 90 degrees different to where it snapped ...........it isn't you it is ark ! try moving around the target left/right/inside/outside you can usually get it done but omg sometimes it will test you!
also sometimes a tiny movement will change it too so take some time as you could go past the snap if too quick ... hope it helps a bit best wishes
