How to extend boat size?

I tried doing a search but it has yeilded no results that have worked so far. I know ppl have siad there is no way now to be able to extend rafts beyond a 3x3. I have even tried some modes but they don't seem to work as well.

Some of the coding that I ahve tried is as follows:

RemoveFloorRequirementFromStructurePlacement=false
MaxPlatformSaddleStructureLimit=500
PerPlatformMaxStructuresMultiplier=5

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

We are running that on our server but still doesn't seem to wrok. I have tried teh thatch roof method as well....kinda stinks...lol

Just to cover the obvious... If you are talking about basic extension, you can attach ceilings to the outside of the edges of the 3x3 foundations you start with, you can have a 5x5 enclosed with walls, or 7x7 (minus corners iirc) without.

There used to be some method to expand out definitely with foundations, but I never looked into it; and think that was patched out in the last few months.

Thanks for the input and yes I was doing the ceiling to foundation but it blocks it after 3 for me in the front. Seems I can go to the sides a tad longer

Thanks for the guide. I did have a few good builds previously but now it seems you cannot extend the rafts past 3 foundation as you get no snap point when using the ceiling trick.

So I am unsure if there is a server setting to use that will help extend the rafts. Ihave upped the PerPlatformMaxStructureModifier that has worked in the past but does not seem to work now.

Its a bit disappointing....

Try using pillars, ceilings, and foundations. Put down a pillar, a ceiling on top of that, a ceiling out, pillar down from the second ceiling, and attach a foundation at the bottom. Remove everything but the foundation in reverse order.
