B) Something in your inventory is say 30, putting it in one of the crafted bags would decrease it weight by(configured in the .ini) x%, say 20%. That means it weighs around 24 instead. Not much, but imagine several things at once. So 100 in the bag would actually weigh 80 on your character(as long as it's in the bag).
The idea behind this is reducing clutter and being able to carry more on long treks and the logic is that having bags strapped to your character would place the items in a balanced place, on your back/hips/etc, freeing up your hands, allowing you to carry more. The bags wouldnt be visable on your character in-game, but thats the logic behind it. Bag icons/physical models are already in-game, so would just require someone to program it into a working order.
