How to get the tek sword/shield on the island?

We have our own private server so I don't feel like we are cheating by doing anything in command lines or whatever, but how the hell do you unlock the tek sword and tek shield engrams on a server that is on the island? I know it is unlocked by killing the ragnarok bosses but that doesn't help the situation

You can just give yourselves the engrams but they are coming out with Map specific Tek unlocks, just a way for them to encourage Buying Dlc really

Well considering these are both ragnarok specific engrams and ragnarok is free, i think you have the wrong idea there. Not only that, you also didn't answer my question.

you have to transfer your character to obelisk go to ragnarok and defeat manticore there, then transfer back - if you want all engrams you have to transfer characters. It was time consuming AF and not worth - legendary metal sword is stronger then tek sword, but the light is good and shield is refrecting damage but not worth the time

Ranygald and Arno are correct you have to transfer to rag for those engrams

btw is there a plan to extend admin commands to give learn engram to other players ?

Yes they did. They stated, Map specific, meaning you would need to go there to get it. It implies that you can't get it anywhere else normally.

I may be wrong, but the Dev kit needs to be updated to allow these if they aren't already available in the workshop.

name one ? which ONLY add tek sword and tek shield to lets say hard dragon boss on the island ? no other changes, no dino levels, no other items, no other skins etc, only that and nothing else
