Help! Therizinosaur outside my base

So i was riding my parasaur torwards a beacon 2 days ago. when I got there, a therizinosaur came out of nowhere and chased me down and outran my parasaur and killing it in 4 hits and then chased me down and killed me in 2 hits. I noticed it was level 4 while it was tearing me a new one. My main mistake was running torwards my base and so it actually killed me pretty close to my base. And after that it would sort of just stay in that area. But today I just noticed it right outside the gates to my base and it's wandering closer and closer. I cant really run because everything i worked so hard for is there and so are my tamed pets. I only have 3 diloposaurs that are levels 21, 19, and 12 all with speed and damage upgraded. I also have a carbonemys level 20. I don't know if I should run in and attack the beast with everything I have or what. Please help.

Bruh dont fight it. I tried taking it on and it killed everything

Don’t get attached to any low level Dino’s when starting out.

Those dilos are on the bottom of the Dino taming pool and won’t last long against anything significant.

Ark has a harsh learning curve, and a lvl 4 Theo will be nothing to worry about once you level up further and learn to survive.

Stone towers or taming pens are good to start with, or shoot him from atop an unclimbable cliff.

Spike walls are a good cheap investment until you can build suitable defenses.

Guys I just decided to run in guns blazing and managed to get him stuck on 3 giant rocks and I knocked it out by just using my slingshot and club. My original plan was to just lure it as far away as possible but this works too I guess

if you are playing solo, use the cheat destroywilddinos command. This will destroy all wild stuff on the map and get rid of the theri if you are unable to do it with what you have.

I'd suggest building a large dino trap. Basically a structure made of stone door frames with ramps that lead into a 2-3 wall high 4 foundation sized structure. If something nasty gets near your home you lure it to the trap. Dismount opposite side of the ramp side and jump inside on foot to lure baddie inside then run through one fo the door frams to escape. You can also use it to tame larger dinos as well, or just flat out kill them later. lol

That's a good alternative.
It eats berries, and make sure you have plenty of narcos or berries on hand, their torp drops pretty fast.

I was going to tame it but I left to go get berries and came back to find a raptor eating him. Good news is that I knocked out the raptor and now I'm taming him

Either take everything off your character and lure it away and die, or be a kool kid and somehow trap it in the enviornment and tame it. if you manage to take it you basicly got yourself a herbivore rex. It uses up ALOT of narcotics and megalosaur egg kibble is its favorite, but vegies and mejos work too.

4 stone dino gates . a large bear trap . Make a "C" with dino gates, place the bear trap , place the 4th gate. Open two doors so you can run through. Kite the Fear Turkey in. Close the first door once you know it can't not changee direction as it heads inside. Hear the Large bear trap slam shut , run quicly to the other side close the opposite door . Tranq arrow it . Shove narcoberries till it bar goes to full topor . let it come down a few points . Give em 1 more and guage how much time you have between dosing . When it runs out of food place berries / vegtables ... whatever you got. You'll soon have a fear turkey of your own.
