Transfer dinos within server via obelisks
I've been searching for this the last couple of hours to no avail.
What i want to enable is dino/item transfer (upload/download) without enabling cross ark (server to server) transfers.

Basically what I want to do is upload a dino to red obelisk and download it from either green or blue obelisk on the same server for quicker transport.

Is this possible?

Thanks.

yes if up and download is allowed. i do this a few times i tame a dino , i just upload him there and download him on another(playing on ragnarok). i even uploaded dinos and items from my island server and downloaded them on the rag server without clustering.

The problem is when I enabled uploads. People was uploading dinos they created in single player games which was stupidly high levels. I don't want to have that, but want the ease of transporting dinos via the obelisks

Set it up the exact same you would a cluster to allow only cluster downloads. Give it a unique ID and turn on the transfer filtering. As you do not have any other servers with the same cluster ID then you will be able to upload and download on all the obelisks on that server and the cluster ID and filtering will keep it from going to any other server.
There's settings in ark server manager, (which you should be using to manage your server anyway) Just go check the boxes and click save and it will do exactly what you want.

Be specific then because you are wrong. ASM allows or blocks obelisk uploads period. There is no option to only block cross server as the OP wants.

TGrable has the solution. Run as cluster.

Yup, easiest way is to set your server up as a cluster server, but with only 1 server in the cluster.

Yeah this is what I do but I have been loading those official server saves into a second server on the cluster.

It's great fun checking out other peoples bases. Trying to raid them or just admin my way in and take there stuff.
