Please fix the Water Jars
The water jars come into play holding 1/200 units of water int hem and they cannot be emptied past this point even after drinking / cooking the water out THUS we cannot get the beer liquid out of the beer barrel as the water jars are registering as still having water in them so the beer liquid will not transfer like it should to create a beer :(

+1 as OP. same deal, jars come into play 1/200 units of water and will not go below that so you cant put beer in them.

weird,

Are you on an official or non-official server?
I started brewing at batch last night, will check it out for myself tonight.

Are you playing in scorched?

I am playing on an Unofficial serving running S+ / Stacks Plus / and a couple other mods I don't know what they are.

Ok .. update .. I found the problem and it was not the water jars. Evidently the water jars have always come into play with 1/200 units of water. They are still registered as empty. The problem turned out to be in the piping that the beer barrel was hooked up too. Originally I had the beer barrel hooked into stone piping and it worked fine. When I upgraded the piping to metal the beer barrel quit transferring the liquid into the jars BUT I did not make the correlation because of the length of time it takes to make the liquid (It was empty of liquid at the time of the pipe upgrade). After much tinerking and making new barrels and trying different things I discovered that when I decided to remove the metal pipe the barrel was connected too and replaced it with a stone once again and connected a new barrel to it ... 6 hours later I had liquid and it did indeed make a beer jar. So in the end it seems there is a problem with the metal pipes leading into the beer barrel. I have all metal piping except the pipe connected to the barrel and it is now working. Took days to figure it out but there it is.

hey,

great job troubleshooting this for yourself!

Were you using s+ metal pipes or vanilla ones?

If you are using S+ why are you not using the in structure piping? Lay down a few foundation pipes then hook it up to a water source and you can put the beer barrel down right on that foundations square. The S+ beer barrel even snaps right to a S+ foundation. It is a beautiful thing, not a single pipe ugly'ing up the place.

Yet another update .... the beer barrel made 2 beer jars then quit ... it is now making beer liquid and once again the liquid will not go into the jars. I have no idea why it works for awhile then I have to make a new beer barrel to get it to work again ... something is definitely wonky, probably with one of the mods that are running

Good idea, I also like just making the piping and wires invisible in S+.

OP,
Silly question, but are you double-clicking on the beer once you put an empty jar in the barrel? I could be mis-remembering, but I don't think they auto fill- or I didn't experiment enough to see if they would fill on their own.

I'll check mine tonight.

I just made some beer last night. The jars do auto-fill as you place the empty jars into the barrel. I use S+ as well. Not sure why you would have issues. Are you using any other mods on top of S+? Any stacking mods maybe?
Muerkier Oct 10, 2017 @ 2:56pm
The unofficial server I am on is using "Stacks Plus" mod as well as S+. I am thinking a mod is causing the problems I just don't know what mod that would be. Just a guess.
