Esc key not working

My escape key doesent work anymore. I saw a youtube video, which showed, that you can press shift+esc, but its ♥♥♥♥♥♥ irretating, that it doesent work normally. What to do, to make it work again?

Get a toothpick and clean the crud out from underneath your keys in your keyboard. Try a different keyboard to see if that key is dead on your keyboard.

Its not that. When i press shift+escape, it works. But if i only press the escape, it doesent work. When i use the esc outside steam, it works also. I think its maby a problem with steam :(

Yes, and also alt+tab, to get out of game, and closing it in the bottom. But i want it to work normally again :(

I almost forgot, you have to press esc key in ark 6 times before it works.

its not 6times,now is combination 6 time ESC ,5 time ALT, 4 time Space

I already helped you. You're the only one to ever report this. No one else has this issue with ark. This is not a common problem. Therefore it's something wrong with you or your computer, not anything actually wrong with ark it's self. Do steam verify, re-install the game, something like that.

Are you referring to using esc to close inventory windows? I've noticed the same issue. I used to be able to simply hit esc, not I have to click the close button on the window (haven't tried shift-esc). I'd not played in a couple of months and only came back a week ago, so I can't say at what point this changed. It is a little annoying.

You've checked the keybinding? I have tons of issues with escape randomly not backing out of inventory menus, but none with it not working at all.

Cant find the menu. Tryed with mskey (win-button+R first), but it says it is not a valid command :(
