Just wondering, did you try force feeding? It's a commonly known issue that some baby dinos don't have a high enough food bar to get to the point where they will auto-eat, thus requiring you to hand feed them (push E while mousing over the food). I see the babies food bar is zero, so it looks like that was your problem.

Yeah i know that , but the thing is , this is a glitch , when they are able to eat from the feeding rack , they should , i mean by that , i will not stay 3 hours with the dino and force feed him when he already can by himself :/

You said you're not on an official server, so either you're on an unofficial server or playing single players, so odds are, you have some mods running. Either you're using some modded feeding trough or some modded dinos, it could be that the issues is with 1 of the mods you're running?

Considering the screenshot you have is of an otter, chances are, the mod isnt updated yet to include otters within it.

Typically the time it takes them to start eating from their inventory automatically isn't that long. I can't really see in your pic, what dino is it?
Also, they will not eat from a feeding trough (if that's what you meant by feeding rack) until they get to 10%. You don't have to sit with them the entire three hours until they get to 10% (if that's how long it will take). Basically this is how it would go, for a dino like the one you're dealing with.

Step 1 = Baby comes out, you put food in their inventory, and force feed it (using E), until they will auto-eat from their inventory.
Step 2 = Baby can now auto-eat from their inventory, so you just keep filling up their inventory as much as you can, and returning now and then to put more in.
Step 3 = Once dino gets to 10%, it will now eat from a feeding trough, so always ensure the trough has food in it.

The entire time, always make sure they have food in their inventory, and their hunger bar never reaches zero. If hunger reaches zero, their health starts to go down until they die.
Also, ensure you're using the right type of food! Some dinos eat berries exclusively, meaning no veggies. Others only eat fish, etc.

It's not a glitch, it's a part of raising babies, which is probably the most frustrating, but realistic, part of the game.

Jep this happens to me also but since the patch where they "fixed it" it got very, VERY rare (at least for me). Playing on unofficial, mods and higher rates so maybe it has smth to do with these.
And please don´t tell me about breeding, feeding and the maturing process i think i´ve got this after over 1,3k hours and hundres of breds *g*

I literally raised an otter, three ovis, and two pteras on the official server this weekend. It's not a problem with the game. It's a problem with a mod you're using.

They type wrong things about the babys in the notes, they still dying after the patch with the "fix", don't believe everything they wrote

Babys Sheep still dying underground you need to breedthem in a ceilling or in water

U said what i think Mofo , i have nothing more to say , it's a glitch , it's not a part from the game and it's not happening every time , try to breed more vivelegras and u will see ...
