GTX 960 performance
So, is it even worse downloading now? Or optimization is still very bad?

Well, it's not the best graphics card, that's certain, but it runs each modern title quite fine, except for this game

Im wondering what modern games are you talking about?

A friend had a 960 and had to play division which its not a new or modern game on lowest settings at 1080p.

If its well it runs Ark better than I expected tbh

There's obviously a lot you're not telling us. The only way this is even remotely possible is below 1080p and with DirectX10 launch options.

The GTX-960 is a pathetic weak card, it's not going to run ark well no matter what you do.

I'd like to know the resolution slider position and the amount of Vram

Division runs on high settings at 1080p at 45-55 fps.

I have a 960 4gb card and i get 45 frames with the occasional drop from big bases.

There are a ton of other factors like cpu, memory speed, and mobo that are not being taken into account here.

And what settings do you use?
Seikuri Oct 17, 2017 @ 11:49am
I call ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ on the not playable front.
Ive been using that card with the 4gb version for over a year now and the game performs better and better. If you only call it playable if it runs with 60fps+ then sure it runs like crap.
Im fine with my 30-40fps and high medium settings.

In heavy build bases like ours with 400 dinos + and a huge building I have to press backspace to remove the Ui and I get still 30fps.

No launch options no bloom effect and slider at 100%
16gb of Ram and a 7 year old cpu :D

Mostly high. Some medium, others low. I let GFE optimize it, and those settings worked best.

My other specs are as follows for comparison:

Cpu: amd fx-8150
Ram: 16gb at 1866mhz
Cant recall the mobo, its a gigabyte (im a fanboy for their stuff)

Edit: also, a 500gb ssd for the os and ark (win10 peo)

That said... @OP -- just check youtube for recent videos with your card or download it. You're wasting everyone's time. You can just search for yourself.

Yeah and ARK looks like a pasty unrecognizable garbage at those settings. If that's what you have to reduce yourself to just to play it, why would anyone even bother? Ark is going to look terrible on a GTX 960.
