Can't Craft Anything!
Like as a new player, I have all the resources for a stone pick but it ain't working to craft it. Nor anything else. Just regular inventory crafting as starting up as a new player.. Tried everything, validating the files, uninstalled and reinstalled the game, made a new character, killed myself and nothing has been working. Lvled up and put it on some other engrams but still ain't working at all... I don't know what to do? Maybe someone could help, would be much appreciated.

What do you mean can't craft anything? Like you have the materials and everything and are you crafting in a smithy or your inventory or a fabricator? If it's a fabricator you're having problems with then you might want to try turning it on first. With gasoline.

Yeah sorry that I didn't specify that, but I literally can't craft anything. Like as a new player, I have all the resources for a stone pick but it ain't working to craft it. Nor anything else. Just regular inventory crafting as starting up as a new player..

I've had that problem but I fixed it by restarting my game.

I've had that problem but I fixed it by restarting my game.

Yeah I've done that too a million times it feels like but nothing ain't working. :/ getting really frustrated over here

I had an issue like this as well. Turned oit to be a mod or a couple mods conflicting.

Never used any mods on this game, straight out vanilla since I got it. Bought back in 2015, strated playing it more now.

In tour host game menu there is an advanced tab on the top right. Take alook in there. If not im affraid i dont no what the issue is

Let's go back to basics.

How are you trying to craft items? Since you are a new player let's start at the very beginning.

i have found that if u have to many items *not quantity* like i had split about 200 meat into 1 each and that made it so i cant fit any new items into my inventory try dropping some stuff and maybe it will work i had the same problem not being able to craft

if you have a black "weight" icon it means too many items
if you have a grey "weight" icon it means too much weight.
if you dont want the meat or mutiple item, holding O on your keyboard while hovering said item will throw them away super fast.
I suggest trying to keep or cook the meat though. stacking them back might be a good idea.
I'm guessing at this point your issue is resolved.
I think the item number limit is somewhere around 100 or 150. not sure so don't take my word for it.
