a BSOD always tells you the reason for it and creates a file with informations about the problem.

there are multiple free tools which you can use to load and read this file. it just depends on the Windows version you are using.

but it is usually one of those:
- software error (OS and/or drivers)
- hardware problem
- heat

In most cases its the ram which is defective. Especially when it happens while the game. Ram is used until defective area and boom you have your bsod

i have 3 sticks of ram 2x4gb and 1x 8gb, could that be the problem

Only way to check your ram is with a memory tester. like MemTest86 or similar. The only way to accurately trouble shoot is look in the event viewer and locate the crash. It should give you some information like an event ID and a vague description of what happened. If you are lucky, you system captured a crash dump file and you can use that to google what the issue is. Otherwise, it is a pretty long and tedious process of eliminating parts of your PC that could be causing the problem.

I once had a PC that was blue screening because the power supply was failing and was not providing enough power to the RAM. A mem tester kept pointing to the RAM because it did not have enough power to work correctly. I replaced the motherboard, CPU, RAM and just about everything else I could before I tried a new case that had a different power supply in it. Booted right up and never had another issue with it.

The configuration is not really good. First you can check module by module when until you hopefully find the defective one. When you found it, think about to kick out the 2x4gb for one 8gb with the same clockings as the other one. Best would be same brand and type

I'd recommend using the free tool - WhoCrashed - to read the minidump right after booting the PC back up again after experiencing the BSOD. It reads the file for you and gives you a better idea about your problem.

Extremely likely. Remove the 8 gig stick and you should be fine.

I had this probelm so if those don't work try setting your launch options to "-norhithread" (Without the quotes)

Helped me out I was getting 9 bluescreens a day.
