why does it cost so much to repair it

spend some time on SE and you will soon be grinding up good chainsaws just because you have so many from drops.

Go in to the caves and get cave loot crates. Go around and kill alpha dinosaurs. Fly around at night and get all the loot crates on the maps. I have patterns on my single player play through of Scorched Earth with green, blue, purple, yellow and even red quality chainsaws with increases in damage and durability. They exist in the vanilla game and you -DO NOT- need a mod just to get better chainsaws. Just play the game more and you will find them eventually.

You don't need it, but the upgrade bench helps a lot. Searching for 60 hours of gameplay and not finding a single gosh dang rex saddle bp at all is frustrating.

That's actually part of the game and the entire point of it. The hunt for the best items or patterns for best items. It's so much more rewarding when you actually find it.

However, if you just want the item and not invest the time, just use admin console and add it yourself, no point in using mods for something like this, that's just stupid. It's already built in to the game.

Yeah, no, not when i have every saddle bp except rex and all the other players onbthe server all have ascendant rex bps. At that point its only frustrating.
