Season Pass discount

This is some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. So if you helped your company out by buying a season pass when it came out, you got screwed over! They have a sale for 50% off and the game has been delayed. This is really upsetting. I want a discount! If your going ot make season pass 50% off you better refund the people who originally bought it first.

But this is not the same situation, we don't even have the expansion and they just put the sale price out on the pre-order.

I'm guessing the Steam sale was organised (I think it's 30 days prior) based on the assumption that Ab' would be out. So either Steam told WC they couldn't back out or WC clean forgot.

I believe the point is that the season pass went on sale BEFORE the expansion even came out. So people who bought it before don't even have the product yet and it is discounted.

As I noted above, other retailers often take things like this into account and match the lower price on release.

So if i go to a store and buy something at full price. That item goes on sale a month later i can get the sale price then?

Yes. I bought a saw a month ago on sale, store put on sale at a lower price last week, I went back and they gave me the difference.

Point being, some companies have good customer service.

wrong analogy though.... you went to Bestbuy and got a pre-order for a game. The game is delayed and not released yet, during which time Bestbuy decides to have a sale a few weeks later of 25% off on the pre-order for that same game that hasn't been released yet.

I have no reason to lie about it - you can see my profile and play time, i'll see if i can dig out the SE expansion receipt from my steam wallet.

I'm not doubting you jack', but the rejection slips exceed refunds approved by a big margin. There will be a lot of people happy to know you got refunded because it means they might. I just don't know how you did it. Maybe Gabes' office girl is sweet on you. :)

And that's crap, because owners of SE didn't pay for it the second time therefore don't need to be refunded for that portion.

If you go to a store and PRE-ORDER something at full price, then it goes on sale before the item is actually available, yes, I think you should be able to refund and get the sale price. This is not, and should not be, unusual.

Example:

Whenever you pre-order digital content, the price we charge you will be the lowest price offered by Amazon .com between the time you placed your order and the time the content is released.

Your right of course i wont argue that logic, in fact i can show you the date i bought FO4 near release and the date i bought the SP which was on sale.... I waited too - In this instance, i dont know why i didnt wait, maybe to eager this time and wanted to play the new map with my tribe mates.... thats how they get ya.

If it were the actual game i would agree with you, but this is a season pass for DLC. The fact that abberation was delayed has no relation to the pass going on sale. This whole topic is nothing but a few people who got butthurt over a sale they missed, blew it way out of porportion, and now every autistic screecher is hopping on the bandwaggon.

I get that but it changes nothing. If u paid full price then a sale comes around..
It really strikes me that so many will say " dont buy this at 60$" then buy the season pass for 50$ then this happens. Did everyone that bought the season pass really think there would never be a sale?
The delay has nothing to do with it so scrap that crap.
People think wc is out to get them.. Its not personal its bussiness. The world does not revolve around any 1 person.
In the end if most of these guys complaining about 60$ realease had done what they actually preached this would not even be an issue. Its hypocritical by definition. To me this looks like poeple looking for ♥♥♥♥ to ♥♥♥♥♥ about.
Train ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ as i call it. Cause a problem then complain.
If it bothers u that much stop buyig ♥♥♥♥ at full price.
Go through my list of games. I have never paid full price for any of them. I know that fab game thats priced at 80$ will be on sale soon enough. Sometimes people cant change there minds without cost.
This is not in defence of anyone btw. But people take it personally and its pure ♥♥♥♥. Stop putting the blame on everything else and take responsibility for ur purchaces.
P.s. i am not refuring to any one or u directly NC. Ur a.good dudeand i see how people can dig deep enough to find fault in this. But really its nothing out of the norm.
