Motorboat Fuel Consumption Bug
I've left the motorboat on for several minutes and watched as barely 5% of one unit of fuel is consumed. Just now, I left it on for 5 minutes while I went away and 17 whole units of fuel were just gone. This isn't the first time this has happened either.

What the heck is going on?

Ok, something is really strange here. I exited Ark for a minute to make a save in the savegame manager, and when I came back, 20 units of fuel were gone. Does it just automatically remove fuel if you leave the boat on when you logout, regardless of how long you were logged out? This is in singleplayer.

I think this may be a bug. Every time we log off if there is any fuel in any of our motorboats it is all gone on logging back in. Fuel is fine in all other items from generators to grills etc. Hope this answers your question. Only thing I can think is to remove fuel as we do before logging off. Set a chest next to the driver like a small box.

Do you turn the boat off? Hold E. Turn boat off... The orange writings of the fuel should turn grey.

We turn off boat when not in use. Unless fule is removed, when logging back on it wil be gone.

That's odd, it's maybe because of a mod. I play on official and my boat is floating in my pier with 99 gasoline since a week.

Turning the boat off seems to prevent it, but even if you leave it on, it consumes so little fuel that you shouldn't lose 20 units just logging off for a few minutes or going out of range of the boat.

Guess it's yet another bug.

Till this topic was posted I figured our servers were only ones affected by the bug. While no answer in solving it.. it is always nice to know it is not just affecting you solely. Private server clusters, no mods. On other note! It's the weekend so hope everyone gets some rest and has a good one.
