Mods not working!

My friend doesn't have this problem but when I want to play the mods that I downloaded won't show up in the mod list.

In single player you subscribe to mods in workshop.

Load ark, wait while it installs them (notice in bottom right corner saying downloading)
Click Host / Local and your downloaded mods should be listed in a window, you need to click on the mods you want to activate and move them into the window above it.

Online servers will download the mods for you if they have them enabled.

Note that a big mod, one that is several gigabytes can take awhile to download, just be patient. To test, unsubscribe all your workshop mods, subscribe to a little one like Super Spyglass and test it out.

I know I subscribed to these mods and downloaded them but there are only 2 mods showing out of 10

That could be because they are out of date compared to your version of Ark?

Structures+, Super spyglass, Annukai Genesis, Death Helper, Kibble Station, Awesome Teleporters all worked for me last night. Try those see if they appear.

One of the mods that didn't appear is structures plus

And also my friend had the same mods as me on the same version of ark and everything worked for him

Unsubscribe all mods, Subscribe to just structures+, see if works then? Maybe you have a mod causing issues blocking the other mods.

some mods (big ones) can take several minutes or more to DL, make sure you wait at the main screen till all the mods install before continuing to the second screen or you will 'interupt' the DL

Errr, All sorts of things really...

You have corrupt Ark install
Your hard drive is full
He is on a different version
You have a rogue mod causing a download problem
...

-I reinstalled ARK today
-I have like 500 gigs of free sapce
-We both have ARK up to date
-What does rogue mod mean

Oh I just realised I had one mod he didn't have but it was so small it probably doesn't matter

When you reinstalled, did you delete the mods folder manually too?

You could also try deleting your download cache. This will solve some mods and stuff not downloading. You'll have to log in to Steam when it's done and I've read that people that have their library spread over different drives had to reinstall game so beware of that. I did it just the other day and had no issues (but I keep all my Steam games on one drive).

To clear your download cache click on "Steam" in the top lefthand corner then Settings > Downloads > Clear Download Cache.
