Mindwipe Tonic - Can't use again - (Solved, sorta)

First off, this is SINGLE PLAYER, just to be clear. Second, I know of the option to make it unlimited respecs, however, I didn't know about the change in the limited amount of uses for Mindwipe until recently (stopped playing Ark for a few months). I ticked the box but my level 100 character (on Ragnarok map) cannot use the Mindwipe Tonic.

What do I do?

Update: Killed myself and made a new character. That worked. (don't try this on official! lol)

So, the option on General before loading into the game "Allow Unlimited Respecs" is for something else ?

it's supposed to be the same; but you can try this one if the other doesn't work. maybe still a working on it.

Ok, well, I put ?bAllowUnlimitedRespecs=True in my game.ini file and I STILL can't use the Mindwipe Tonic /sigh

have you tried it as a launching command (right clic on ark in game list and launch option) ?
otherwise sorry i dunno :/ maybe kill yourself before to unbug something ?

either a bug or intended, with inteded i mean maybe that option is more for fresh start chars and doesnt work on chars that allready used their "last" respec.

I think I read something about this being an issue if you already used a respect at level 100, it gives your character save a flag that can't be reversed even with the setting enabled. The only solution would be to edit your save file and alter the flag. Or restart the character and use console commands to get all your stuff back.

would do the ascension help? so he wont be max lvl anymore? maybe thats worth a try before starting over.

I'am not completly sure but, the "?b" is only for the commandline and not for the ini. file.

Well, the website I got it off says it goes there. I don't know what else to do.

try using it with AllowUnlimitedRespecs=True inside the ini.
(sorry i'am only guessing too)

I know ragnarok has an issue with unlimited respecs. Try uploading your character to an obelisk then download at the island map. It's worked for me there.

Already tried that. It didn't work.

It doesn't matter anymore, I killed my character and created a new one and forced her in the tribe my other one is in. Tested the tonic and was able to use it repeatedly at level 2, so all is ok now.
