And I agree, it was awesome at the beginning. Now if only the bug where the loading screen music would play while you're in a server would go away...

i honestly got sick of it after the first month the game came out so i usually just mute my audio for ark while i log into a server(since that usually takes like ~10 minutes)

Yeah same. Never have music on in any game unless that game adds a radio or something as an in game item.

I thinks it's pretty stupid to have combat music in a survival game. Dino comes up behind you apparently with a radio and speakers attached to it.

it is mainly used as a tool to know if you are being attacked like say you have a bird on passive while you are harvesting mats or what not

The best solution here is to turn off your speakers or put down your headphones when you are idling at the log in screen while trying to pump up your hours played.
