Arrows hitting dinos and damage not being done. Other bugs ect
This is happening to me on an Official sub <200 ping server.
I will shoot a dino and the dino will not react, no hit marker, no damage nothing. Just arrows stuck out of the dino. have to melee the dino and then shoot it to make it work a lot. Even when chasing after something the arrows won't register until the dino turns. Almost like nothing happens at certain angles.

Also when using melee chasing a creature is the buggiest thing. It's like if i get too close the dino gets pushed away very quickly. Dinos run all over the place, are not getting hurt by spikes and i have been getting time out lost connections at random that even quit my client all day. The other issues i have had for a while.

@Title:
This has happened since the first day of early access and is still happening all the time.
Even on a stable 30 ping server this happens very often. Just get used to it, it's not going to get fixed any time soon....

Ya i did notice this a long time ago too. How absurd. No excuse to still have day 1 bugs in a final product. Infact the game got messier and buggier with each patch! I played way more problem free two years ago then i do now with better hardware lol......

its not a bug its the crappy hit boxes

do not aim for wings aim for center mass and head shots

a red flash around the cross hair will mean the round hit

I always aim for headshots but it doesnt help a lot. I have a few screenshots with like 4 arrows stuck in their face and they are acting like nothing happened and have taken no damage. This has been the case for multiple ground dinos.

only issues i have with the hit boxes is small creatures and winged creatures which i tend to avoid tameing any way

after ive tamed mounts weapons are for tameing and killing people only dinos do everything else

The collision boxes are too big, the hitboxes are mostly too small, AI is non-existent and the optimization is still retarded. And still I feel I have to play the game because it costed half a fortune...

awful game design and awful netcode.
Sometimes even without any movement, you can't hit creatures that are partially behind a wall/rock/whatever.
Even though you've clearly hit them and should hit them 100% (not a latency issue).
I think there is some weird pointless line-of-sight check int he game

Seeing as how 80% of all projectiles shot and hit from a tapejara aren't registered I think you might be right.
