Report a translation problem
This has happened since the first day of early access and is still happening all the time.
Even on a stable 30 ping server this happens very often. Just get used to it, it's not going to get fixed any time soon....
do not aim for wings aim for center mass and head shots
a red flash around the cross hair will mean the round hit
I always aim for headshots but it doesnt help a lot. I have a few screenshots with like 4 arrows stuck in their face and they are acting like nothing happened and have taken no damage. This has been the case for multiple ground dinos.
after ive tamed mounts weapons are for tameing and killing people only dinos do everything else
Sometimes even without any movement, you can't hit creatures that are partially behind a wall/rock/whatever.
Even though you've clearly hit them and should hit them 100% (not a latency issue).
I think there is some weird pointless line-of-sight check int he game
