How the hell are you supposed to kill a Chalicotherium?

I'm in the easy area, and randomly this son of a ♥♥♥♥♥ will show up and just kill me, spawn camp my♥♥♥♥♥♥and just keep killing me, I have stuck this thing with 9 tranq arrows and shot it 7 times. I've tried leading it away but it just comes back, it's ruining this game for me. How do I kill it?

shoot it more than err 16 times maybe? Respawn somewhere else? Stay away from them?

You don't tame it by knocking it out by the way. Anyway, tame a raptor, smack the the thing camping you and lead it away a few hundred metres.

I didn't even know those were aggressive.

They have a lot of health btw. It would take a number of simple rifle bullets to take it down.

They are super aggressive. It killed all of my dinosaurs before spawn killing me around 7 times.

They will only attack if you are too close to them. They aren't necessarily aggressive. So if you keep your distance, they won't bother you.

Ah, I just thought it was super hostile because it walked over to my dinosaurs and killed them all and then spawn camped me for 7 deaths.

That's because it wandered near your dinos and because it and your dinos were close together, your dinos provoked it into attacking. After that you became an enemy too, so it kept fighting you. If you lure it away a few hundred metres it won't bother you. Just stay away from it and if you see it moving towards your dinos, whistle them to move away. Same with the Therizinosaurus, or as it's more commonly known as, the Tickle Chicken.

Tame a ptera asap and keep the hell away from them :(

While many animals have evolved to have an array of deadly weapons and cunning hunting abilities..few have found it necessary to learn how to climb rocks..so..I suggest get a bucket of arrows, find a nice comfortable rock to climb, and then rain a hellstorm of murder down on it from your newly acquired position of superiority! Laughing maniacally as you do it will reduce the pain of having lost your dinos previously. Good luck.

Would that work? I always thought they'd climb up and smack me off, or they would break the rocks from under me.
