you can see the Phoenix or the dust pile if you're not at the location where these despawn or spawn as it gets stuck in the ground for a few minutes outside of the heat wave. However once the Phoenix is is rendered at it vanishes it is shortly afterwards and you have to basically Mark the Spot. You cannot tame the Phoenix just by I breathing on the dust pile you have to breathe on the Phoenix only during the Heatwave.
2- after it disappear the dust disappear too, but it will respawn in teh exactly same spot he disappeared at the end of the previous heat wave, you can easily lure it to the ground with rare folower and build a trap around it to tame at the next heat wave
3-no clue but if you trap it its gg cause you can start the tame immediatly when the next heat wave starts
4-if i remeber well fire breaths took 3% of progression each, damage on wyvern didnt seem to affect % on taming, id reccomand using a flametrower, much faster
That said, I have never seen one, and I don't know how many spawn at once.
