The A.I..
Please tell me this is very placeholder. Because the dino AI is maybe the worst Iv'e seen. Now I know you guys jus "released" the game to get some more money off the folks who said they wanted to wait before buying, Cause lord knows this game ain't ready for release.

Does anyone know if the AI is going to get a major overhaul, Cause as it stands my mouse is hovering over Uninstall.

I killed a Titanosaur with a pike because it got stuck in a rock

On a server with 90 ping i had 12 darts stuck in a Ichthyornis because they hit the model and not the hitbox

I bounce every time i get out of the water

SHIP IT

I doubt it. A.I. , path finding, horrible FPS will never change. Welcome to ARK!

A year ago, dinos were still stuck inside trees, spawned inside trees, vanished if a rock respawned... this game has come pretty far. Things get stuck way less but they still do get stuck. The AI got better they are still dumb as ♥♥♥♥ but.. it got better over the years.

The AI being used is no joke the same we had 10 years ago in games. That's why Im thinking it HAS to be placeholder.

My favorite AI is the Dilo, the herd together after awhile and go crazy attackign everything. Super fun to watch them fan out and kill whole herds of things~ The A.I is what it is, not perfect but it's not dead and frozen. I wish path finding was better but meh. I still liek it just fine.

I suggest I take your advice. I'll come back in maybe 6-8 months and see how it's going. I mean Iv'e waited 2ish years for this bareboned crap to change, Maybe....Just maybe it might in the next few months.

I would hope so, I mean it was in early access back then. But now it's finished so wouldn't expect any major changes on AI from here on out.

On my own server on the same computer with 0 ping I have the exact same issue. There's something seriously wrong. I can't damage an Ichthyornis unless it's flying towards me.

Leads me to believe there's far more than just lag at work, seems to be the entire collision system is borked.
