anyone figure out how to make this work yet, i got meat and metal in its inventory and its well under 50% of its carrying weight, yet its not cooking anything, did i break it?? xD

I do remember you have to turn something on... not sure if it is related to the cooking/smelting but my Phoenix burns without any issue.

Noting needs to be turned on. Literally all you do is dump stuff into its inventory. As soon as you use the bird itself to harvest meat it starts coking.

Sounds like a glitch, restart the game I guess?

Ok i harvested meat and metal while riding the phoenix and it still ain't working, must be an island thing since i'm not on scorched

No, itis not an "island" issue - it's the same as with equus saddle: It works fine, until you restart the game: The engrams are broken, too. And with the Phoenix its the same: Restart the game - no more smelting/cooking. Uploading/downloading the bird at an obelisk fix it (...until the next restart)

Thats horrible, so i have to leave dino downloads on my server to fix it, thats bullspit
