never heard of them in ark so they must be from a mod

I think it's part of the EC mod. Could be Mythical Creatures though.

thanks guys for some info.. i'll do a bit searching in game and try to tame the thing

if you add the ACM mod, you can spawn in the pygmys, although I cant seem to tame them as yet. They are super cute, just look like Jerboas but multi-coloured from the Ext Core mod.
