A little salt regarding the flamethrower.

Why do you unlock the damn thing at level 65, if you can't make the ammo until lvl 82. That ♥♥♥♥ is stupid.

The balance in this game is terrible, the game is released but they barely changed (balanced) most of the engrams/items in this game unfortunately.

It just seems retarded to me to have the ABIITY to craft it at 65, but not be able to have the bench required to craft it until 82. More than balancing, its just... dumb.

If you check most of the engrams, they just make no sense. The level requirements are way off. So is the crafting xp.

This is ARK. Early Access means it is more finished than most other games out there. When it is released it is not actually released, it is still in Early Access, so give them a break. Bugs are not bugs, it is because you have a crappy PC. But they will fix all the bugs, one day, so be patient. Git gud, and some other stuff. Up is down, right is left. Hmm, Just trying to put together some of the answers people give, now I am confused. My logic hurts..

Nothing wrong with forcing a choice of priority i suppose. e.g. when i find clothes i'll not be wanting to use that engram just yet because my priority has changed. Same as i'll not easily be touching the sleepingbag / bed engram on a hardcore server.

Same goes for flamespitter i suppose.. i'll not be touching something i can't make use of just yet. Because you are right, there's no point. I'm not too experienced yet, just the way i feel about it.

It has been like this since day 1, a lot of people (inculding myself) opened threads about this.

But WC only listen to whiney ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that complains about being killed in the dark (gamma on pvp making the nght vision goggles useless), being killed by a plant turret (now requires infinite amounts of water and fertilizers, which will deplete faster than you can craft it) or being killed that a flyer so fast he couldn't target it (that's why you can't put points in speed).

Only true fix, play on unofficial and change the engram list.

Wanna see something stupid too? compare the model and crafting requirements of the industrial cooker and the vault.

Vault is way cheaper even tho it's 2 times bigger. makes no sense at all

To me the flamethrower was more of a utility than anything. I can live without it, I just find it to be lacking logically. So I had to throw some salt out there.

You're the one stuck with something you can't make use of. I suppose you could call that stupid AF hehe. No really, i feel you i do. Just trying to figure the logic of it, because i'm pretty sure it is intentional. Let's say a bow e.g. I'll only be crafting a bow when i'm sure i can craft arrows aswell. Until that time, i'll be only crafting things that are of use to me. Anything else would be time wasted. Just a way i want to approach a game.

I think I understand their reasoning behind this: they want you to try to raid a base that's stocked up on flamethrower ammo in order to use it yourself, at least at first.

Sadly, while I love the game, WC has a habit of never responding, or seeming to do much about suggestions. I doubt I'd be the first to bring this specific topic up.
