how to use my engrams?

i level up from one to two, go to engrams and i unlock pick and hatchet then spear.
after that nothing. i cant make them even though i have enough to make three.
is there now a special menu where i have to go and make them? kinda like a table or something?
and the waking up audio is skipping, guess that isnt fixed still?

Press v to get to crafting menu. Some things need a Smithy to craft some a fabricator, but all the low level stuff you are talking about can be crafted right from your inventory with the crafting menu

"V" by default opens the crafting menu, or you can press "i", and click crafting at the top. If you click the "Show Engrams" box, it'll show your available engrams in the crafting menu without having to open folders. Double-click an engram that is lit up in white and it'll start crafting.

As far as I know, crafting isn't bugged. Though, it may depend on what unofficial server you're playing, as mods can make things quite different.

If you mean you are leveling up and you feel not getting enough engrams > well it is suppose to be this way > its like a skill tree> you learn what you need and ur mates learn the other > its not a bug or an error > its a game where u have to get your friends to give a hand.

Yep.. so much more efficient than just hitting v.....sigh
