Ragnarok map change

With Ragnarok, they changed the map to be virtually unreadable and the players on our server cannot see where they are. Is there any way to have a map similar to The Islands map type before?

do you mean you need to rediscover the map again?

Have you made sure you have it set to show player position in settings ?

No I mean that the map is more or less unreadable when discovered, just a lot of blur, even at 4K

Not experiencing this, sounds like a corrupt file on your end.

Yes, I had that problem too. You'll be happy to know, its not a the Rag map issue. It's the map itself due to bad graphics. Lemme explain, I had my puter running on low graphics on everything, I couldnt read the map to save my life, due to it was blurry. Gots myself a new rig, and works perfectly fine now. Give the map a chance to render itself in, sometimes it takes a few seconds to 10/15 secs.

Sometimes during play I also have it that the map texture doesn't want to load in correctly. When I try again a little later then it usually works. Try running around some using the obelisks or other landmarks for navigation, then try again.

Having the war map up on a wall helps alot later on or at start if you can get one.
But yes give the map a few seconds to render , alot depends on whats around you may cause lag.
