Some foods are better than others. The best (cheapest) way to keep them fed is to get yourself a dodo farm or some other inconsequential dino that likes to lay a lot of eggs like Penguins.. Any kibble will give them I think 60 food points back, their own kibble (iguanadon egg) is good for 120.. Mutton 50. raw meat is only good for 10 points.
