How many gb per month would a 100 pop server take to host? Also how much ram is needed for a 100 pop sever?

Hi, i running my own dedicated server. I tested 1 person per memory usage is 100mb ram. This depend how heavy their base is (size, tamed dinos counted & etc..) My PVE server now leaked over 6GB memory usage (17 mods loading) which 96% from total memory of 8GB DDR3. Above 90% memory usage cause online players disconnected automatically.
P/s...my mother tongue is NOT english.

Ok thank you for the help with the RAM. How many gigabytes of data does it take per month to run it?(as in how many gigabytes of internet does it take per month) I have a data cap on my internet and I need to know how many gigabytes it takes per month.

You're -never- going to have 100pop on your server. Just not gonna happen unless you dared some zerg group to your server for a day or something. [

There are well over 17000+ unofficial servers with the average being about 5-8 between them. Unless you plan to do some super boosted high mod server you may see closer to the 20-25 but that may slow down after the boost chasers move to another server after a time.

Just saying to ground your expectations a bit.

No one outside of owning a server that hits 100 players on a 100slot server would be able to answer that potentially(ie no one).

Secondly, you can always ask a hosting service as they'd be the only other people that would have a remote idea of how to give you a ballpark(mind you ballpark) figure.
