why are there no Npcs?

alright this is pretty much MINECRAFT with way better graphics and more realistic, will somebody add npcs and random tribes could generate cuz its kinda boring to be the only persons in the world and i hate playing online with people. and id like to add more team members that i have full contol over. and i like to reproduse so add childern plz... i dont care if its a mod or actual dlc jest plz

Extinction Core adds Tribesmen that are extremely OP from what I've seen.... they will hunt you down and kill you and interupt your tames every chance they get.
Beyond that, Dark and Light may have opened the door for modders to introduce NPCs with dialog and other interactive options such as trading and questing into ARK....... Let's keep our fingers crossed on that.

Yeah, sorry, but the devs never intend on adding NPCs. There is a mod for that called bush people. I use it. I beleive it was sponsered, not sure if it is any more.

I think we understand your misanthropic views but If you think this is minecraft with better graphics....well, then Im not sure any amount or trying to explain or rationalize things with you will be of merit.

I use the Bush People on my solo game and they make it plenty interesting. Can also max the difficulty of the game. Past what is allowed on the sliders. Or the check marked box. Google it. It is a config file addition. Maybe a modder can help you. Try tossing this out on mod postings. If ever decide to play online hit me up. I am on a pretty good server ran by adults lol. My tribe is nomadic. Maybe something to consider. Best to you.

I agree, it IS minecraft, but it's your "i hate playing online with people" attitude making it feel like that. PvE and solo are minecraft. Grind, grind, grind, then build and collect pointless stuff. PvP is a bit different, but it's hard to succeed for any length of time without tribes. I like your idea, but as other said, that type of content would have to come from modders because it's outside the scope of the base game(which is designed for PvP and large tribes).
