Ragnarok: How to get the underwater crystals?

I went to look on the wiki page and saw there were crystals underwater, I went to it and the crystals underwater I saw are very big.
I tried to hit them with my metal pickaxe but it doesn't do anything? help?

I think the giant ones are just for decoration actually.

Then why are they on the map if I search on the ark wiki site for crystal resources

Don't think that resource map is 100% on all the resources tbh.
But if someone got a way I am very happy to be wrong since I got my base up there :p

They're for decoration, there seems to be no way to harvest them, there are however 2 pits (I'd call them caves- but they're really just holes in the ocean), they're FULL of tiny crystals that are mineable not far off the shore by the volcano. I'd be careful though, it seems at least on our server, Tuesos like to hang around that area closer to the shore than you'd expect if you've spent time on the Center.

there is crystal underwater i think you if i remeber you can mine the small ones

Berni. The big ones are only there to indicate that there are also... small ones you can mine nearby. :) Just get at the level of the ocean floor around these big ones and you will find the small mineable ones. They are hard to see since they are so much smaller than the huge ones, but trust me, they are there. The problem is : there isn't that many.

Personnally, I don't think that is the best source of crystals. There are caves that contain more. I use the one between the redwood and snow biomes.

Another thing I do is get them from some wonderful spots on The Center, the bring them to Ragnarok.
