That's a shame, so what I'm getting at is no Sanic Doed for me . n .
Doedicurus will curl up when its health drops below 2/3 of its max. They will ignore follow commands while curled up; riding a doedicurus is the only way to overrule its desire to hide.
When curled up, they take 90% reduced torpor and damage[citation needed] and will not move. Turrets will NOT stop shooting at a Doedicurus if it is curled up.
Rolling
While riding a Doedicurus, Press 'Alt Fire' Right Mousebutton to roll instead of run. When you are rolling, you are unable to toggle running and you lose the ability to change direction.
Press 'Alt Fire' Right Mousebutton again to stop rolling"
rolling and curling is two different abilities. rolling do not add defense. just another movement option.

That's stupid, you should be able negate damage for a safe getaway when things get hairy with the shell as well as be able to make it hide and stop hiding at will..
Are you sure? The roll feels like the same speed of generic running..
Also, the movement speed question still hasn't been answered
