Tapejara finding on ragnarok

Guys I need help finding tapejaras on ragnarok, there are never that many around. Any tips?

I always see one near the blue obelisk

yeah same I usually see them around the blue obelisk too...

I have been searching for a good time there, will keep on searching tho. Anyone know how to find them faster

If you own your server you can issue a 'kill all wild dinos' command to reset the spawns, the Tapejaras are one of those under-spawned types that don't seem to come back after the initial world-spawn. Or you can slaughter a lot of stuff in that area and hope it frees a spot for a Tape to show.

That's been my experience any ways.

I have an idea wich i didn t try yet.
Tapejaras tend(ed) to fly very high when panic ing.
That makes them kinda easier to spot in the air.

Since rare flowers got changed and now make stuff aggro when consumed,
allways wanted to try if we can lure them that way.

No idea if it works, good luck though.

I found one low level tape in the forest region by the canyon, used the rare flowers to lure them into my trap, where I tranqed it. Thanks for all your good replies :D
