Ragnarok-Silica Pearls
So,does anyone know where to find these dang things? I've been searching the sea floor and all I've found is oil, eels, and mantas.

I just collected a load of pearls with nothing more than a non-upgraded ichthy at the location I mentioned south of the blue obelisk. Been there several times, never been attacked, just followed a few times by megalodons that couldn't possibly catch me.
Check the resource map I linked... there's tons of pearls on this map.

Well,I'm gonna have to get another fast water mount, since my Diplocaulus got killed by group of Sabertooth Tigers as I was checking out the dry side of the tunnel.
I am playing singleplayer,so I COULD just cheat the pearls in,but I hate to cheat, even when BS like that Alpha Megalodon spawning the instant I got near the cave happens. (Of course I DID cheat in that instance because that was some serious BS.)

Little tip for dealing with the eurypterids in viking bay, take an icthyornis with you. if you kite them into its diving range the icthy can one shot them. Also icthys in retrieve mode give a harvest boost so you'll get more pearls from their bodies.

Same goes for Sabre Cats. I farm the eurypterids in Viking bay frequently and gather loads of black pearls and silica pearls that way. A high level cat doesn't suffer from the torpor effect so badly and mine has taken on 6 or more at once on many occasions and come out relatively unscathed.
So,how deep are the pearls near the dome-like structure?

What level is your Sabre Cat? I have a Saber Cat and a Thylacoleo
Left of the viking bay there is shallow water with lots of pearls. No creatures in sight except for maybe a single manta. Megalodons can't get there. Its a reef with lots of kelp. Can't miss it.
There are pearls in the big sandstone canyon too. At the bottom of the river, it's pretty deep but I haven't seen anything more than salmon, Baryonyx and spinos in the water.

Our server has a 600 max limit for wild dino's. My cat is around 870+ with the taming bonus and levels since, now with over 1100% melee and 2600 health, luckily, stamina stat was already quite good after taming.

I have done it with a 250 Sabre though and only about 200 melee, but on our server, it did take a beating from the higher level eurypterids but hardly anything at all from the ones 250 and under. Since Sabre cats don't really need any more speed, you can pour all the points into melee, stamina and some to health and then taking out Alpha's becomes child's play.
