If high enough even thatch walls will keep dinos from seeing inside but your tames should be well away from the walls.
Something is getting their attention.
Do you have dino's close to a wall or able to be visually seen by the theri's closely(ie window'd walls/pillar style" etc?
Once I know more I can better give you suggestions on how to make things better.
Not with the slightly improved path finding. They have enough basic logic now to move around a rock
Don't use wood fence foundations for stone walls. When the foundations go, the walls go.
While a therizinosaur can damage stone, it's a damage of 1 per hit... that'll take many thousands of hits to destroy even one panel (which isn't enough for them to get through).
I made a taming pen in an area with a bunch of critters I wanted, ended up with 5 iguanodons and 2 therizinos. One of the therizinos kept getting out (when pissed off, they can climb over 3 high walls!) so had to wait for it to heal and start over a couple times... effectively 4 separate taming operations on 'em, and the walls and gates aren't damaged enough to bother repairing.
Best bet: Don't fight 'em, tame 'em. They're utterly fantastic to have!
Agreed, they overspawn WAY too much on The Island - I actually see more of them than dodos.
Ragnarok isn't as bad... go figure.
They do gather berries fiber and wood (too) well, but that's hardly "every single material". I still use my doedics for stone, my anky for metal and flint, my iguanodons for thatch, etc.
As far as its attack, just look at the claws! :) Yes, the rex should be stronger, but these definitely should pack a wallop.
Their aggressiveness, I think, was explained by them being excessively territorial.
