Compound vs Crossbow.

So, I was fortunate enough to come across a Ascendant Compound Bow schematic and I already have a A.Crossbow that does good damage/torpor damage, but which would be better for the situations?

I know damage would be compound with metal arrows as the compound rolled 340%. The crossbow is 303%, so which is better for tranqing?

Crossbow is better for tranqing. Compound is good for PvP because the arrows ignore armor.

topor wise ur best using the crossbow cause a compound bow does less topor then the crossbow...then again tranq darts are more effective then the crossbow and tranq harpoons are better then tranq arrows in the water

but really metal arrows are best in pvp and i think that those metal arrows are also effective on some of the more defensive creatures in ark like the turtle

Damage is directly tied to torpidity.

If it hits harder it will do more torpor.

Note: don't gauge with metal arrows... they can hit as hard as rockets and can only be fired from the compound bow...

and i remember on the wiki it does state that the compound bow does worse topor then the crossbow
