Gamma Broodmother Solo suggestions

So I'm planning at making a solo run against the Gamma Broodmother and I was curious as to what stats and Dinos I would need for this. I have 7 rexes with between 20000 - 30000 Hp and 400 - 500 Melee damage and most have primitive saddles. I also have a Yutyrannus for the buff just incase. So am I going to get stomped or should I make a run at it?

You'll get stomped you need more rex

Grab a couple of Daeodons as well and fill them up with food for the healing buff. We did gamma brood the other day with 10 rexes (min 450% md, 16k HP, and MC saddles), 2 yutys, and 2 daeodons and did just fine. And this was before the 67% nerf from Saturday.

Thanks for the info, I'll hold off and pick up a couple Daedons and breed a few more rexes.

I'm headed down that path too, although I'm looking at the Beta due to the rewards difference.

Google claims you need upwards of 10 refrig full of meat to raise one rex...is that still true?

Baby rexes aren't too bad to raise after you get them to 10% since they can eat out of troughs, but you will end up wasting a ♥♥♥♥ ton of meat due to it rotting. This is even worse if you are playing on scorched earth. I probably won't be making my run anytime soon since I need to go hunting for decent Rex saddle blueprints.

as it is now , run !! its too easy compaired to b4.

as it is now , run !! its too easy compaired to b4.

Is it really that much easier after the patch?

yes
just beat hard dragon , only 1 rex and player survived . 10 rexes total . lost 1 player and rex at start ( fell thru the world as soon as mounted dino ) , next player died due to not watching his health ( demorph attacks ) , i was left alone directing rex attacks , dragon was below 1/6th health at that point . now we need to level up more so we can do it again :(
