Ragnarok-Castle in the Swamp

So,I was wondering how I should go about clearing this place out to turn it into a base. From what I read on the wiki (which doesn't say very much about Ragnarok),it is filled with very high level Bats and Spiders.

Get a few foundations down - exact placement doesn't matter, just kind of surround the area you want. That'll keep stuff from respawning. Then do hit-and-runs to kill stuff and fall back to heal as needed.

Lightning wyvern and fry the wee little poops till they're extra crispy :D So much fun... does require a wyvern though so probably not a good bet early off :/

I have a fire wyvern egg,but it is gonna be a pain to hatch and possibly an even bigger pain getting the milk to feed the hatchling. Also,something I should have mentioned in my post is that I am lvl 72

Rock elemental works great in swamps. Less aggros on you, he gets wood and stone, and can hulk slam anything in your way.

Also, you sit so high up kapros are never an issue.

The swamp isn't really the issue;the issue is the Bats and Spiders that (according to the wiki) are a higher level than the server is set up for.
