109gb
refund it before it's too late
you'll need at least ~80gb free disk space in order to get updates.

Yeah base game has 55gb, then you downloaded extra maps like ragnarok, SE...

So it will get pretty large.
thx for the info.

Yes, this game is comparable in size to a lot of new games that have come out in the last year or so.

When did size became a problem 1tb HDD is cheaper than a burger. 100gb isnt that much. Its much to download maybe, comparing to where you live. Yet this is why steam is giving you the opportunity to backup your files. First time download can be long, but you simply dont have to download it again once its finished. Just back it up, so if any problem occurs, delete and reinstall from the backup ez.

It really amazes me how many people are using drives that are of a size that was standard over 10 years ago and are now complaining that they aren't big enough.

ARK itself is very small compared to a lot of new games, only 60gb. It's not that big of a deal.

My fallout 4 is bigger tbh. Not including mods. Well if they cant buy a HDD, they are probably trying to play ark on intel HP laptop and they will end up, FPS IS TOO BAD THIS GAME IS NOT AAA ITS PRICE IS TOO MUCH IT DOESNT EVEN RUN IN EPIC WITH MY AWESOME INTEL CARD. but yeah, I guess everyone is rich.

Even my $250 notebook that I bought 2 years ago came with a 1 TB hdd...

I have a gaming laptop, alienware, it's going on 5 years now and, with adjusted settings, plays ark fine.
Spades Jul 26, 2017 @ 10:15am
The disk drive is making an alarming sound though....

Don't see how this argues against what I said...
