cant put food in dinosaurs inventory

i am trying to tame a parasaur and it wont let me put berries or anything in its inventory to tame it

Have you rendered it unsconscious?

If the previous question is affirmative, were you the person that rendered it unsconscious? If it was another player and you're not on their tribe you can't tame it

Put the food in while it's unconscious. Then close the inventory window and then open it back up.

It might be related to the new inventory bug that doesn't show the changes until after it's closed and reopened.

I wish they'd fix that. I like my inventory set to Unsorted, then I organise things so I can access them in a certain order. It drives me nuts for such a small problem. :D

Just hover over it and hit T to transfer it.

I'm just nosey and sorry to change subject but do we now have a inventory bug making life hard work for sorting things out? (wondered why things were being a pain in my inventory & everything else)

Yes we do. You can move something and it doesn't show. If you close the inventory and come back it's there. I bred some dinos and was putting their birth stats into folders in their inventory and nothing was showing up, so I gave up and quit. Then later I opened the inventory up to put some more food in and it was full of the same folders I was trying to create that I though had failed. I then experimented by creating more. Each time I would create on it wouldn't show, then I exit the inventory and come back and they are there just like they should be.

I had ascociated the recent inventory item movement bug to my game always being really laggy, especially on some servers (the rubberbanding can be real). Hope that a fix for this comes soon as this is annoying reguardless of how you play the game.
