Waterskin not working to water crops?

I made some small crop plots, added seeds and fertilizer, and I searched up how to water it. People said I could use a waterskin to water it. My water skin was full, I put it in the plot's inventory, but there was no remote use option when I right clicked it or anything... Sorry if this is a noob question just wondering if you still can water crop plots with waterskins (I am on single player btw doubt that changes anything) and if you can why its not showing up for me? I have a bit of time on ark but i've never actually made a farm before...

While it was in the crop plot, was there a 'consume button' ?

Oh right figured it out now thanks I guess I kept missing it because when I searched it up everyone said that there would be a 'remote use' button... Can't believe I didn't notice that lol!

It used to be called remote use, for some reason they changed it a patch or two ago
