Doesn't change a thing. It's so easy harvesting hundreds of flowers withing a few seconds anyway.
Beside that, they have a long ass spoil timer in the fridge, even just without increased spoil timer they have a long time.
A flower is a living thing, therefore it should have a spoil timer aswell, makes perfect sense. People just always need something to cry about when the game gets a tiny fraction harder.

Whats the big deal? Getting flowers is easy. And I bet they will add ways to grow them eventually.

Guess the big deal is that with the unplayable lags and disconnection issues one cannot risk going out to gather more and disconnect in the middle of the swamp :P

Supply > Demand.
Supply is way higher than demand, that doesn't give flowers a good value. Yes they are usefull now, but valuable, no. Would you trade something you can get just as easy as fiber? No.
