Unable to equip Megalosaurus saddle

Hello. I have a Megalosaurus on a friends server but for some reason I can not equip its saddle? It is the only saddle I ahve found I can not equip. It is a modded server so I dont know if that has anything to do with it but again I would think it would affect all and not just one saddle but it is the only one I have found that wont let me equip it.

Make sure you are not trying to equip a "megaloceros" saddle.

Its not one of those I checked and it says megalosaurus.

Pugnacia rewrites dinos, what may be happening is a dino - saddle mismatch. If you have a vanilla made saddle it may not be able to fit on a pugnacia megalo, or if the megalo is vanilla a saddle made from the pugnacia provided engram list may not fit megalos that arent spawned by the mod.

Ill have to ask my friend about it when she gets on then because shes the one that gave me the dino and the saddle. SO I have no clue if that is the case or not

Yeah we Dont know whats wrong. Im not sure how to tell a pug dino from a vanilla dino. Unless the way to tell is if it has the pug guide in teh radial menu then the megalasaurus is a pug dino because it has that. The saddle just doesnt work. and according to the guide it seems the mod is what added the saddle so it SHOULD be working but its not and I have no idea why and neither does my friend :/ If nothing else where can I find the pug engram list? I can try learning the saddle from that and making it and seeing if that works or something

I know this is an old post, this could also help out people researching, but are you sure it wasn't a Megalocerus saddle and not a Megalosaurus one? I had that problem on my game. Just saying. :) Hope you figured it out.

i'll just get the same problem an i'm forced to forcetame my meg to ride it, it's a vanilla meg with a vanilla saddle an it dosent works, also don't tell me that i'm wrong with the saddle name cuz i'll take the time to read and i got a nice photographic memorie so i reconize all the emgrams almost only by the image. meaby it's a fact that the meg saddle can be glitshing by playing with mods sometimes

maybe we'd help but i doupt you have the same 21 mods. seems more like a thread hijacking. 6 years old thread...
